I gathered from this that we should therefore use of energies in feeding the Sat-chit-anand Soul(Atman) and not the physical and destructible body.
We are actually immortal since the soul(Atman) is immortal but our association and identification with this bodily form at this any point in time is destructible and therefore mortal.
